Welcome to Happy Valley Rescue
Building a Community through Horse Rescue and Sanctuary
At Happy Valley Horse Rescue, we are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for horses in need. Through education and community engagement, we aim to create a space where both animals and people thrive. Our commitment to horse rescue and sanctuary is driven by a passion for ensuring the well-being of these magnificent beings.
We firmly believe that by educating individuals about the plight of horses, we can prevent unnecessary suffering, and with the support of our community, we can make a lasting impact. Learn more about our mission and the horses we've helped by visiting our About page.

Make a donation
Happy Valley Horse Rescue and Sanctuary is asking for donations. Your generous gift goes directly to the horses in the form of feed, hay, supplements, dental maintenance, Vet care, Hoof care, repairs and regular maintenance of the farm. In winter, many horse owners struggle to feed their animals and surrenders increase. Elderly horses require more hay, feed and supplements.
Your support enables us to keep our doors open to those in need. Together, we can make a difference in their lives! Thank you for giving!

We simply can't continue our work without the generosity of sponsors like you. The costs of hay, feed, medical care, dental services, and farrier expenses increase quickly. Sponsoring a horse is a crucial way to ensure we can keep providing the care our horses desperately need. Costs vary from $10 - $15 per day to feed a horse, and We maintain an average of 30 to 40 Rescue & Sanctuary Horses.
What Does It Mean to Sponsor a Horse?
Sponsorship is essential to continue caring for our horses and keeping them safe. Sponsors make a monthly contribution toward the care of a specific horse, with all donations going directly to that animal's expenses. Our goal is to secure a sponsor for each horse at HVH Rescue, and your sponsorship makes a significant impact on their care and feeding costs.
Sponsorship is also a fantastic way for those who can't volunteer to get involved and make a difference.
Why Sponsor a Horse?
Sponsoring a horse is a heartfelt way to contribute to our mission of rescuing and rehabilitating horses. It provides a significant way for those who are unable to volunteer or are too far away to join our efforts. Your sponsorship helps free up funds, allowing us to rescue and rehabilitate even more horses in need.

How Much Does Sponsorship Cost?
Sponsorship can be as much or as little as you’d like to contribute each month. The recurring payment amount is up to you. On average, it costs about $10 to $15 per day or $300 to $450 per month to cover a horse's food and basic care. Dental and medical care are additional expenses.
Our goal is to achieve sponsorships totaling $450 per month for each horse in our care. Once a horse is fully sponsored, we stop accepting additional sponsorships for that horse to ensure all our horses have support.
